Are treats just for Halloween

In the biggest crisis ever seen

At Christmas let us give not take

Be compassionate for Christ’s sake.

There are those who don’t believe

Those festive stories that we weave

Who raise a glass – toast – cheer

Soaking up the atmosphere.

Lighting up the Christmas tree

A delight for one and all to see

Think of someone else this day

Put something nice on Santa’s sleigh.
