Yesterday was damp and dull but still colour bloomed in the Botanic Gardens

A very enjoyable day spent in “The garden county” Wicklow.

It’s bank holiday weekend here in Dublin. The sun is out which always brings out the best in the city. The spectacle that is the sails making their way into Dublin port is something to behold. An extra photograph of cricket at Trinity college.

After all the snow we have now arrived at the first day of the Spring Equinox. Nature shone in all its glory. It was great to walk the Hill of Howth in warm, dry springlike weather.

Like people all around the country here in Dublin winter has arrived with a bang. Went up this morning to check in on the swans on the lake. Happy to see them surviving the weather.

So seldom that we get real snow in Dublin I couldn’t let it pass without the camera

I spent a very happy morning yesterday by the lake in the company of swans. So calm and contented in their nature.
