International wetlands day
On a short walk along Bull Island UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. I was lucky enough to see the curlew.

Once in a blue moon
A wet, cold and windy evening around Howth village where I stationed myself along with a few hardy snappers. Unfortunately my tripod was not built for that weather which made it difficult to capture.

The Royal Canal Dublin
An early morning stroll along the bank of the Royal Canal

The Botanic Gardens Dublin
I spent yesterday morning in the Botanic Gardens. We are lucky to have such an amenity on our doorstep which has the wonderful advantage of being free to enter.

Let laughter touch the others cheek
A simple thought for the day

Sadness gripped me.
Sadness gripped me
Holding back that hidden tear
In a world so filled with fear
Lonely in a crowded space
Searching for a warm embrace.
Filled with others expectations
Tangled response, complications
Reaching for that perfect form
Sinking drowning mental storm.
Sleepless nights twisting turning
Candles now at both ends burning
Tension born from daily trauma
Depression writes a scary drama.
