Fair weather golfer

What a good start to my golfing year

I’m sat in the bar and having a beer

Looking out at the rain beating down

The hailstones hopping off of the ground

The frogs are spawning in the bunkers

The green keeper is praying on his hunkers

Where there was a fairway is now a river

What I see then gives me quite a shiver

There goes a fisherman with his rod and his reel

I guess you know now just How I must feel

I order a whiskey for a while I must linger

I think that we’re snookered hook line and

sinker.
