The longer we do nothing

The longer we do nothing:

Children within Europe
Murdered in their beds
Bombs rein down on innocents
Lives now torn to shreds.

Leaders fearing outright war
Sanction a dictator
While he without a conscience
Marches on our lands.

How he must be laughing
At our stuttering indecision
Applauding all our weaknesses
With sneering, scowl, derision.

He marches with impunity
From so called powerful nations
people throwing petrol bombs
From homemade battle stations.

Every time we hesitate
We elevate his power
He now feels invincible
In his soviet ivory tower.
